Things continue to be chippy today in Boston, as Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith has been ejected for committing a Flagrant 2 foul against Boston Celtics forward Jae Crowder. While fighting for rebounding position, Smith swung his fist back towards Crowder and hit him square in the chin. Crowder's knee bucked on the same play and he had to be carried off the court.

It seems likely that Smith will receive some sort of suspension. That Smith will either miss at least Game 1 of a Cavs vs. Chicago Bulls or Milwaukee Bucks series or Game 5 of Cavs-Celtics. The league could also to suspend Smith for more than a game he will likely also be fined.
Smith's actions came after Kevin Love left the game with a shoulder injury after being tangled up with Boston's Kelly Olynyk and after Kendrick Perkins struck crowder and was called for a Flagrant 1 foul. Here is the video of the Perkins-Crowder altercation:
