The NBA has announced that Cleveland Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova has been assessed a technical for his role in Chicago Bulls forward Taj Gibson's ejection from last night's Game 5. The league announced Dellavedova's technical in a tweet from its PR account, which is protected and thus its tweets are not able to be embedded.

Gibson was ejected for kicking Dellavedova in the fourth quarter of last night's game. Dellavedova, however, had locked Gibson's leg by using his legs to trap Gibson's before Gibson had kicked him. At the time, Dellavedova was not called for any foul.

Dellavedova finished Game 5 with five points and four assists in 18 minutes. He will be available for Game 6, which takes place on Thursday at 8 p.m. in Chicago.
