Kevin Love says 'he never wanted to be in a game more'

Kevin Love says he wishes he was out there playing.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love may be on the sidelines, but he sure seems to be enjoyed his first trip to the NBA Finals.

Love spoke to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne last night and he said that he 'never wanted to be in a game more than that one'. He is, of course, referring to the Cavaliers' 108-100 overtime loss to the Golden State Warriors.

From Shelburne's piece:

I had so much fun watching it because I want to be in a moment like that," Love told ESPN after the Cleveland Cavaliers' 108-100 overtime loss to the Golden State Warriors. "I'd rather be out there helping those guys, and I saw a lot of places where I could help.

"I've never wanted to be in a game more than that one," said Love, who had never been on a playoff team in his six prior NBA seasons.

Asked specifically whether that meant he wanted to be back in Cleveland next season, Love said, "Yes. I want to win."

Love is out for the playoffs due to a shoulder injury suffered in the first round against the Boston Celtics. The Cavs could certainly use him against the Warriors, especially if Kyrie Irving is sidelined at all after re-injuring his left knee last night.
