David Blatt to appear on NBA TV on Monday night

It's the dog days of summer, but there will be a Cavs fix tonight

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

It's the dog days of summer, and we are still waiting on NFL training camps to get underway. If your baseball team isn't having the season you want it to, or if you just love Cavs basketball that much, you might be really struggling with all the downtime. Whatever the case may be, tonight gives you a chance to turn on the television and see Cavaliers coach David Blatt.

At 8:00 pm on NBA TV, Blatt will join other NBA coaches like Rick Carlisle and Kevin McHale in a roundtable type discussion on the show Open Court. It should be a pretty interesting conversation if it gets moderated correctly. George Karl will be on as well, so it'll be worth watching just to see if they ask him about DeMarcus Cousins or really anything about the Sacramento Kings.

You can watch a preview of the show here, with Blatt discussing LeBron James' passing ability.

There had been rumors and speculation that Blatt may not be back for a second year. With each passing day that view looks more and more unlikely.
