We are one step closer to seeing the Cleveland Cavaliers play basketball again.
The Cavs have announced that their annual Wine & Gold game will be played Oct. 5 Quicken Loans Arena, according to Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal. The game will tip-off at 7 p.m.
More details from Lloyd:
The annual intrasquad scrimmage will be free and tickets are available beginning Friday at Discount Drug Mart locations in northern Ohio or online at www.Cavs.com.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and fans will receive a 2015-16 roster card. Concessions will be available at prices discounted from the regular-season charges and a variety of activities will take place on the concourse.
The game will be also be streamed live on the Cavs official website and you can get more info on the game here.
We know that Kyrie Irving will not be participating in this game as he recovers from a fractured knee that he suffered in the NBA Finals. The the chances of Kevin Love playing in this game are unlikely as well. Outside of those two, expect everyone else - sans Tristan Thompson, maybe - on the Cavs roster to be on the floor this game.
