David Griffin says Tristan Thompson negotiations are not a distraction

During his media availability, Cleveland Cavaliers GM David Griffin was predictably asked about Tristan Thompson's ongoing contract negotiations. The answer he said that the negotiations aren't a distraction and that he expects a deal to be worked out.

While not calling it horrible, GM David Griffin said Tristan situation is not ideal. "I would've loved to have been done w/this on July 12."
