Kyrie Irving takes relationship with R&B singer Kehlani public

Kyrie Irving was in a good mood after the Cavs win in Philadelphia

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Kyrie Irving was just 3-15 from the field on Sunday night, and it just wasn't one of his best games. The Cavs were able to win, so it's not a big deal, and bad shooting nights are something that happen from time to time. Perhaps the reason for Irving's play can be explained by nerves?

Now, Irving has started and excelled in an NBA Finals game, and lives to make big shots in the fourth quarter. But it seems there were a special pair of eyes in the stands for this one. Kehlani, an R&B singer that I'm told (remember, I'm the least hip person in nearly every room I walk into) is on the rise and pretty darn good, made it to the game.

In all seriousness, if Kyrie had scored 40 and then posted this I'd have joked and said he did it to impress her. It could have gone either way. Either way, you're happy for Irving.

This is pretty nice. Irving recently had his first child, and now appears to have found someone he really enjoys spending time with. He's in line to perhaps start in the All-Star game, he has a max contract, and his team is a contender. His second Nike shoe just came out. Sounds pretty great.
