In case you somehow didn't hear, the Cleveland Cavaliers fired head coach David Blatt and replaced him with Tyronn Lue. Not surprisingly, there were a lot of pieces on Blatt's firing that look at what happened and what comes next from a number of different angles. Here a few of the best.

Over at Sports Illustrated, Lee Jenkins wrote a column about how the Cavs fired Blatt with a title in mind. Also at SI, Ben Golliver wrote about how Batt and LeBron James never really got on the same page.

At Fansided, Ian Levy wrote an eloquent column about Blatt's firing and how his failures extended beyond wins and losses.

At Hardwood Paroxysm, Derek James posted fives thoughts on Blatt getting the axe and Daniel Rowell wrote a poem about Cleveland sports that followed the style Kobe Bryant used in his retirement poem.

Across the league, NBA coaches were not pleased about Blatt getting the axe. Pistons' coach Stan Van Gundy said Blatt's firing was the 'theater of the absurd' and Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle (who is president of the NBA coaches association) didn't hold back at all either.

At SB Nation NBA, Tom Ziller wrote about how all NBA coaches not named Gregg Poppovich are doomed and Tim Cato put together a timeline of Blatt's strange tenure in Cleveland.

Our own William Bohl and Justin Rowan talked at length about Blatt's firing and what comes next. Make sure to subcribe to the podcast on iTunes and/or SoundCloud as well.

Lastly, ESPN's Brian Windhorst and Dave McMenamin collaborated on a story that indicates that Blatt's firing was a long time in the making.
