Fear the Links: Cavs get a signature win edition

The Cavs beat the Spurs yesterday and there's a lot of reading to be done about what may go down as the Cavs' best regular season win.

David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

Yesterday, the Cleveland Cavaliers beat down the San Antonio Spurs and won by a final score of 117-103. In short order, a number of words were written about what may go down as the best Cavs win for the regular season. Here are some of the best.

At SB Nation NBA, Jesus Gomez wrote about three things we learned from the Cavs' win. The one that feels the most notable: Tim Duncan's absence was felt, as the Spurs didn't have much rim protection inside without a healthy Duncan.

At Sports Illustrated, Jeremy Woo wrote about why the Cavs' win was in fact a statement win and touched on how comfortable Love looked in the win.

At CBS Sports, Matt Moore wrote about how the Cavs looked frightening for the first time since LeBron James returned in their win. There's also a lot of good video clips in Moore's post that dive deep into how the Cavs won so convincingly.

At ESPN, David McMenamin wrote about how the Cavs' win capped off a successful first week for new head coach Tyronn Lue.

In case, you missed it LeBron emphatically blocked Tony Parker and later chased down Manu Ginobli. If you're looking for videos of individual performances, Dawkins made a Kevin Love video, a Kyrie Irving video and a video of LeBron and Kawhi Leonard's showdown.

Cleveland.com, Joe Vardon wrote about how LeBron told us everything we need to about what happened with David Blatt.
