Hello everyone and welcome to today's 'Fear the Newsletter', where we get back in the swing of things after a long break.
If you have questions, concerns or complaints, drop me an e-mail at christopherwmanning@gmail.com.
The Cavs lost their preseason finale against the Wizards but it's the preseason, so no worries. J.R. Smith also made his debut, but struggled. Again, it's preseason, so no worries. Check out a podcast recap of the game here. And don't worry: Kyrie Irving's injury isn't believed to be serious. If you're still sad, watch LeBron's block of Kelly Oubre.
In other news, most GMs expect the Warriors to win the Finals. Too bad they already blew a 3-1 lead and the Cavs won the Finals after being underdogs this past year.
If you're looking for a podcast to listen to, check out 'Locked on Cavaliers', a Cavs podcast in the 'Locked on Podcast' network. It's hosted by me and you can subscribe on iTunes, Stitcher and AudioBoom. Also follow the show on Twitter @LockedOnCavs and like it on Facebook. Also, drop an e-mail or mailbag question to the show at lockedoncavs@gmail.com.
If you need a sick Cavs or NBA t-shirt, go support FtS' Daniel Rowell over on TeePublic. You may or may not see the header of this newsletter on a t-shirt in his store.
What to read today: Dave Zirin's piece on Kaepernick in Buffalo, why the Wolves won't meet expectations, why Delly will be perfect with the Bucks and a throwback to why Francisco Lindor is the best.
That's it for today. We'll talk to you tomorrow after the preseason finale.
