Rockets at Cavs: Game preview, start time, and TV information

The Cavs will look to stay unbeaten when they host a revamped Houston team on Tuesday night.

NBA: Dallas Mavericks at Houston Rockets Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Over the weekend, the Cleveland Cavaliers survived a tough, late push from the Orlando Magic to move to 3-0 on the season. They will look to stay unbeaten on Tuesday night as they square off with a Western Conference foe for the first time this season.

Who: Rockets (2-1) at Cavs (3-0)

When: Tuesday, 6:00 pm Eastern (note that this is earlier than originally planned)

Where: Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland, Ohio

TV: Fox Sports Ohio, NBATV

Music:

The Rockets, under new head coach Mike D’Antoni, have won two in row (both against their in-state rival Dallas Mavericks) after losing on opening night to the Lakers. James Harden is averaging 29.3 points on 43 percent shooting, along with 10.7 assists and 7.3 rebounds per game. That’s pretty good.

The Cavs have also been pretty good to start the season. Not only have they won every game, they’ve gotten good performances from each of their big three. LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love are all averaging at least 20 points per game.

These teams split their two meetings last year, although LeBron did not play in the game the Cavs lost at home to the Rockets in late March.

After this game, the Cavs will get another day off before hosting the Celtics on Thursday.
