Kyrie Irving has been dishing out more assists of late for the Cavs. Early in Thursday’s game against the Celtics, it doesn’t look like it’ll be any different.
Here, after breaking Avery Bradley’s ankles in space, he finds a rim running Tristan Thompson just running down the floor at full speed. The results are predictable:

When Irving does stuff like this, he’s just adding another dimension to his game and makes it harder to know what he’s going to do in space. It helps, too, to have a guy like Thompson there to receive the pass.
