The Cleveland Cavaliers might be without two key players tonight when they take on the Detroit Pistons.
According to Tom Withers of the Associated Press, Cavs guard Kyrie Irving is sick and questionable for tonight's game. Irving left yesterday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to stomach flu and did not return. Irving played just over nine minutes and scored two points against the Thunder before exiting.
Additionally, guard Iman Shumpert is doubtful with a shoulder injury. Shumpert hurt his shoulder last Thursday against the Chicago Bulls and hasn't played since. While it's not considered a serious injury, the stinger is on the same shoulder he hurt last year when he still played for the New York Knicks.
The Cavs also likely won't have Channing Frye tonight against the Pistons. As reported by ESPN"s Dave McMenamin, he has yet to pass his physical but the Cavs "aren't concerned" that the tests are taking longer than expected. His status may not be updated until right before tipoff.
