When the Cleveland Cavaliers play the Washington Wizards tonight, Kevin Love won't
According to Joe Vardon of cleveland.com, the Cavs are sitting Love tonight so he can rest. It's an interesting decision, as the Cavs enter Friday's game off three days of rest, but play three games over the next four days.
The Cavs will hold out Kevin Love from the lineup Friday against WAS for rest. Fri is the start of 3 games in 4 days for CLE

If the Cavs were coming off a busier portion of the schedule, this would make some sense. But the Cavs are coming off a quasi-break and there isn't much time left in the season. As the past few weeks have shown, this Cavs team still doesn't really play together at an optimal level yet. Love sitting out doesn't exactly make figuring out a working flow any easier.
Who the Cavs start in place of Love is another factor to consider here. The most intriguing option would be to insert Channing Fry into the starting lineup to replace some of Love's shooting. but if Monday's starting lineup holds true aside from Love, then that means starting Frye next to Timofey Mozgov. The best option here may be to move Tristan Thompson back into the starting five and give Frye his first start as a Cavalier.
