Timofey Mozgov questionable vs. Kings due to illness

The Cavs might not have Timofey Mozgov tonight when they take on the Kings.

The Cleveland Cavaliers might be without Timofey Mozgov tonight when they take on the Sacramento Kings.

According to Chris Haynes of cleveland.com, Mozgov missed the Cavs' shootaround this morning due to an undisclosed illness and is listed as questionable for tonight's game:

Mozgov's absence typically might not be a huge deal against other teams considering his overall form this year, but the Kings' best player is DeMarcus Cousins. Cousins, of course, is a bruising, dominating force inside and Mozgov is a big body Cleveland needs to defend the paint.

Tristan Thompson can probably defend Cousins effectively, but without Mozgov, the Cavs might have to turn to Kevin Love more at center in smaller lineups more often than they already had planned to. Love probably wouldn't do well against Cousins inside and that probably leaves the Cavs' lineup more vulnerable than they'd like.

Expect an update of Mozgov's status closer to tonight's 10 p.m. tipoff.
