When the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Indiana Pacers later tonight, LeBron James will be a spectator.

Per ESPN's Dave McMenamin, LeBron will sit out tonight's game to rest.

LeBron played 28 minutes last night in the Cavs' win over the Milwaukee Bucks and sat out the fourth quarter when the Cavs had the game in hand. With Cleveland off until Saturday's game against the Chicago Bulls, LeBron will pick up three days of rest before the playoffs.

This really isn't too big of a deal and, if anything, reinforces Tyronn Lue's choice to choose resting players over securing the East No. 1 seed. The Cavs' number to clinch the No. 1 seed is down to two and a win tonight allows the Cavs to cut that number to one.

The Cavs are 1-3 this season without LeBron and 4-13 in the last two years combined when LeBron doesn't play.
