Not unlike the Nike LeBron 13 "Command Force", the Nike Kyrie 2 "Huarache" is a throwback to the 1990s.
As noted by Complex's Russ Bengston, this sneaker is a blend of retro styling and modern shoe design. Also dubbed "Kyache", this colorway is clearly inspired by the classic Huarache shoe originally released in 1992 and worn by Michigan's 'Fab Five'. Irving originally wore these shoes on March 14 against the Utah Jazz.
