The Eastern Conference Finals are finally upon us. The Toronto Raptors have played 14 games in the postseason to the Cavs' eight. Perhaps the practice will help them. Perhaps the grind will start to catch up to them. It's a little bit of a test to see just how important the regular season is, though the Cavs won more games during the regular season as well. The Raptors put together a good offense during the regular season. During the playoffs, it's been a struggle for them.
And the Cavs were very good during the regular season, but have hinted at being great thus far in the playoffs. It's probably less an issue of "rust" for the Cavs, and more an issue of making sure the team is still in game shape. This is the longest stretch without a Cavs game since October.
