Western Conference Finals open thread: Thunder look to close out Warriors at home

Will the Cavs play the Thunder? We could know as soon as tonight

Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

Oklahoma City stands one win away from the NBA Finals and a date with LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers. They lead their series with the defending champion Golden State Warriors 3-2, so they have two opportunities to secure their spot on basketball's biggest stage. It won't be easy of course. They still have to go through Steph Curry, the unanimous MVP, and Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. And if they can't do it tonight, in Oklahoma City, they'll have to go back to Oakland and try and beat them there. They've done it once in this series, but repeating it would be difficult.

The Thunder are a slight favorite, and I saw it tweeted that the heavy betting was on them. In my expert opinion I have no idea what to expect. The games have been incredibly fun, and Durant and Westbrook have been a joy to watch. Can Dion Waiters keep up his play? Will this continue on as Steven Adams' entrance to the world stage? I look forward to watching tonight. Discuss the game here if you're so inclined.
