According to Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid, Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James almost took his talents to Philly instead of Cleveland during the summer of 2014. Embiid tweeted that the 76ers almost nabbed LeBron after tweeting that the 76ers need to recruit Kevin Durant after the Thunder lost the Warriors in last night's Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals.

Embiid tweets are a callback to the summer of 2014 right after Embiid was drafted by the 76ers. That summer, as LeBron entered free agency, Embiid took to Twitter to court LeBron.
@KingJames hey bro hope you're having a good day...... Want to join us in philly?? Peace
