NBA on NBC intro created for Game 7 of Cavs and Warriors Finals

If you know me, you know that I love the cheesy and corny introductions and montages before big time events like The Masters or October Classic. Growing up, the NBA on NBC was fantastic at setting the scene for big games and moments. Bob Costas is and was tremendous in my mind, and Roundball Rock is as good as it gets. I spent a lot of time the summer the Cavs came back thinking about the possibility of Kyrie Irving in the Finals with Roundball Rock in my head.

Of course, the NBA is on ABC now, and while I generally think they do a decent job with coverage, they've eschewed montages all together this year. It's a pretty big bummer. Luckily, via The Stashed, we get an edited version of the classic NBC intro. Enjoy:
