LeBron James picked up some extra hardware in addition to the 2016 Larry O'Brien trophy, as he has been named the 2016 NBA Finals MVP. Per the broadcast on ABC, James was voted the Finals MVP unanimously.

James finished Game 7 having scored 27 points, pulled down 11 rebounds and dishing out 11 assists. For the second straight year, LeBron was the driving force behind the Cavs' Finals run and he was even better this year. When the Cavs were down 3-1, he did even more to get the Cavs back in the series and ultimately bring them back into the series.
LeBron, without question, deserved the MVP award. Other Cavs - namely Kyrie Irving - were great but he was on another level for all seven games. And without question, he was the best player on the court and, once again, looked like the best player in the world.
