NBA Finals: Cavaliers vs. Warriors Game 1 time, TV info, radio and preview

Everything you need to know to watch Game 1

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The whole year brought us to this moment. In the ashes of last season's Game 6 loss at home to the Golden State Warriors, the question became one of how. How do you get back to the Finals from square one? How do you put yourself in position to reach the summit of the sport?

For Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving it meant rehab. For Tyronn Lue it has meant a different job. For LeBron James it has meant learning to trust, and a different mindset in the playoffs. For just about every other Cleveland Cavalier, it has meant picking and choosing spots, hitting threes or getting offensive rebounds. For much of the season, defense has been optional.

The journey wasn't smooth, but it's gotten us to this place. The Cleveland Cavaliers are healthy, they are happy, their offense is clicking at historic levels, and their defense has gotten better in each round of the playoffs. LeBron James is rested, Kyrie Irving has found his shot, and Kevin Love has found his peace. The only question left is whether or not it matters.

Because on the other side is the Golden State Warriors, winners of 73 games with a swagger to match. They are the 10th team to come back from a 3-1 deficit, taking out the Thunder from behind, so the look of destiny may be upon them. The have the unanimous MVP, they have three All-NBA team members. They score at will and have a track record of defensive success. If the Cavs somehow pulled off this victory, well, that'd be nothing short of amazing. Game 1 gives them their first shot to steal back home court advantage.
