When Kyrie Irving suits up for Team USA at the 2016 Olympics, he’ll be wearing a No. 10 jersey. USA Basketball revealed their 12 man roster this morning on Twitter along with jersey numbers.

No. 10 is the number Irving wore at the 2014 FIBA World Championships when the Americans won gold and he was named tournament MVP. With him again wearing No. 10, this appears to be his designated international jersey number like LeBron James’ No. 6. With LeBron not playing in Rio, Clippers center DeAndre Jordan has taken over the No. 6 jersey.
With it now official, USA Basketball’s roster is exactly what it was reported to be over the past few days. Irving is the lone Cavalier on the roster and he figures to play a big role with Raptors guard Kyle Lowry being the only other point guard on the roster. It would not be a stretch to think that Irving, along with Kevin Durant, will be asked to carry the scoring load for Team USA.
