Kevin Love is in the NBA's concussion protocol, and the decision on whether or not he will ultimately play tomorrow night appears to be out of his hands. Coming into the series many wondered if Kevin Love's defense would allow him to stay on the court. Through two games, though, it's been his unwillingness to get much going offensively going that's been the real issue. He took an elbow to the head from Harrison Barnes in the 2nd quarter of Game 2 and has since been diagnosed with a concussion.
It is my hope that the Cavs will be cautious with this. Head injuries aren't to be trifled with. It's a major letdown for Love who worked hard all season to put himself in the position to play in the Finals. We will see if he's ready to go tomorrow night.
From the Cavs:
Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (concussion) is listed as QUESTIONABLE (50/50) for tomorrow night's NBA Finals Game Three vs. the Golden State Warriors at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
