NBA Finals: Cavaliers vs. Warriors Game 3 time, TV info, radio and preview

Everything you need to know to watch Game 3

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The Cavaliers will tip off their first game at home in the NBA Finals in dire straights. They're down 2-0 to the Warriors, and haven't even looked particularly good in their losses, especially in a Game 2 blowout.

LeBron James has looked particularly mortal, Kevin Love is questionable with a concussion, and Kyrie Irving has found no success in isolation against a defense that appears to be built to stymie this Cavaliers offense.

The Cavaliers defensive game plan that predicates on trapping Stephen Curry in the pick and roll and switching off-ball has been a massive departure from the team's scheme over the course of the season, and the four or five days leading to the series don't seem to have been enough for the players to pick it up. There's been massive miscommunications that have led to wide open dunks on back cuts and hilariously open threes.

That said, it's not like the Warriors have murdered the Cavs wire to wire. Cleveland's scrapped its way to tight games before the Warriors have pulled away. The team might be better served going back to their more conservative defense from the regular season and hopefully spent some time installing wrinkles in the offense that can destabilize the Warriors defense.
