Two years ago, LeBron James announced his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers and he's already won the Cavaliers a title. I think we all dreamed big upon LBJ's return, but now that it's all real, and it's all happened, it's still sort of feels like a dream. This might be pretty controversial, but I for one am happy LeBron came back to Cleveland.
Tim Duncan has retired. It looked likely, and it's happened. I was six years old the last time Tim Duncan wasn't in the NBA. I'm going to miss that infuriating bank shot from 15 feet out, the picture-perfect defense and that dude's complete and total unwillingness to let age affect his game. Unreal.
Chris Haynes reported that many of the Cavalier coaching staffis working without contracts right now due to a delay in Tyronn Lue's extension. So, that's weird.
Our friends Ryan Mourton and Trevor Magnotti are in Vegas for Summer League. Follow them on Twitter, if there's even a one percent chance you're not already. If you already are...carry on.
The Cavaliers had Sunday off for Summer League action, but they're back on today. They'll square off with the T-Wolves and electric rookie Kris Dunn. From a Cavaliers perspective, I'm looking to see if Kay Felder can find the range on his jumper. He hasn't hit a three yet, and that's important for his ability to stick in the league. I'm also looking to see if Jordan McRae can get like, 40 free throws in a game.
As a reminder, chat about free agency here and track all Cavs rumors here.
If you need a sick Cavs or NBA t-shirt, go support FtS' Daniel Rowell over on TeePublic. You may or may not see the header of his newsletter on a t-shirt in his store.
That's it for today. We'll talk to you tomorrow.
