Team USA continues to roll in the lad up to the 2016 Olympics.
On Sunday, the Americans beat China 106-57 in a exhibition match at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Cavs guard Kyrie Irving scored 10 points on 4-6 shooting to go along with 4 assists. Kevin Durant lead Team USA with 19 points, while former NBA player Yi Jianlian led China with 18 points. The game was never close, as the Americans controlled the action from start to finish.
Irving came off the bench as Coach Mike Krzyzewski is using a different starting lineup each night in the lead up to the Olympics in Rio. Irving started in the first exhibition win, a blowout win against Argentina.
Irving’s most notable play was a buzzer-beating layup just before the half:

Team USA will play China again in an exhibition on Tuesday, July 26 in Oakland. They will then play again on the opening day of the Olympic tournament on August 6, as both are part of Group A. If tonight was any indication, the Americans won’t have much trouble with this matchup.
