By all accounts, Matthew Dellavedova was a fan favorite during his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Something about him - maybe his rise from undrafted free agent to role player, his grittiness or maybe his motor - really resonated with Cavs fans.
But Delly also loved the city of Cleveland. He was a regular at places like Restore Cold Pressed and the West Side Market downtown and really embraced being a Clevelander in a way not all athletes do.
Now that Dellavedova is officially a member of the Milwaukee Bucks, his time in Cleveland is at an end. As he moves to another team, Delly took to Twitter and posted a long thank you message to the city of Cleveland and Cavs fans on Twitter.
Check out the message below:

He finishes the note with the following paragraph:
It is time to move on now but I really can’t thank everyone in Cleveland enough for everything. Cleveland will always be a special place for me and a special place chapter in my journey.
When he plays his first game back in Cleveland, something tells me he’ll be warmly received.
