The Cleveland Cavaliers have announced their slate of preseason games for their upcoming title defense. As has been the tradition for several years now, the team will travel to Ohio State for a game at Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
2016-17 CAVALIERS PRESEASON SCHEDULE:
Wednesday, October 5th vs. Orlando at 7:00 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena
Saturday, October 8th vs. Philadelphia at 7:30 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena
Monday, October 10th at Atlanta (game time is still TBD) at Philips Arena
Thursday, October 13th vs. Toronto at 8:00 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena
Friday, October 14th at Chicago at 8:00 p.m. at United Center
Tuesday, October 18th vs. Washington at 7:00 p.m. in Value City Arena at The Jerome Schottenstein Center - Columbus, OH
*all times Eastern
All games will be shown live on Fox Sports Ohio, except for the October 13th game vs. the Raptors. That one will actually be on TNT. I’m not entirely sure why TNT wants a preseason game, but it’s a sign of the strength of the Cavs and health of the NBA.
It’s likely the full season schedule is released very soon, and we will have you updated on that as well. Basketball is just around the corner.
