The countdown to Cleveland Cavaliers basketball can now begin.
The NBA today released the full slate of games for each team. Cleveland will open the season at home before heading to Toronto. Then, the Cavs will play a three-game homestand.
A few key numbers to know:
- The Cavs will play 34 games on national television. That includes 10 games on ESPN, nine on TNT, six on ABC and nine on NBA TV.
- Cleveland will be 18 back-to-backs this season.
- The season officially begins in Cleveland on Tuesday, Oct. 25 against the New York Knicks. The Cavs’ ring ceremony and banner raising will take place that day as well.
- The Cavs will host the Warriors on Christmas. That also marks the first matchup between the teams during the 2016-17 season.
- The Cavs travel to Oakland on Monday, Jan. 16.
- Cleveland finishes the season on Wed., April 12 at home against the Toronto Raptors.
