Kyrie Irving is having one hell of a fantastic summer. After putting up a Finals MVP worthy statline (though it was overshadowed by LeBron putting up an even greater performance), Irving has continued to be a standout performer for Team USA.
Despite his strong play, it seems that Irving is often made to be a scapegoat for a USA team that has not won with the ease many anticipated.
As a result of the seemingly always present gap between public perception and production, Ryan Mourton and myself were joined by Zach Frydenlund, better known as Chopz, to discuss Irving, J.R Smith’s contract dispute and more.
