LeBron James picked up some more hardware on Thursday.s
James won two awards - ‘Best Social Media Follow’ and ‘Player You Secretly Wish Was on Your Team’ - as voted on by his fellow NBA player in the 2015-16 NBAPA Player Awards. The awards, which are in the their second year, are separate from the MVP, Rookie of the Year and other awards that are voted on by the media.

The former award is kind of funny considering that LeBron has a history of being passive and cryptic on social media, so maybe NBA players find his Twitter and Instagram as funny as the rest of us. To quote Carmelo Anthony in the above video: “You just never know what you’re going to get with him”.
The latter award is pretty spot on because who wouldn’t want to play with LeBron James? Of course, LeBron isn’t quite as revered by his fellow players in the same way Kobe Bryant was/is, but he’s the best player in the world. People want to roll with the winners.
