Add Eric Moreland to the list of players hoping to make the Cleveland Cavaliers roster out of training camp.
According to international basketball reporter David Pick, Moreland has signed a training camp deal with the Cavs. An Oregon State product, Moreland has appeared in 11 NBA games over the past two seasons.

Moreland’s deal won’t be guaranteed, so it’ll be easy for the Cavs to cut paths with him if he doesn’t make an impression in training camp and in preseason. Moreland is probably a longshot to make the team, as he hasn't yet proven to be an NBA-caliber player in his two years in the NBA.
Moreland, like other training camp invitees Markel Brown and Cory Jefferson, could end up with the Canton Charge after training camp ends. Moreland is only 24 and if the Cavs decide there’s something there, he could become a developmental piece like Jordan McRae was after they scooped him up from the Delaware 87ers last year.
