NBA: Cleveland Cavaliers-Championship Celebration Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Hello everyone and welcome to today's 'Fear the Newsletter', where we get back in the swing of things after a long break.

If you have questions, concerns or complaints, drop me an e-mail at christopherwmanning@gmail.com. On a note from me, I apologize for this newsletter taking a month off. But now with media taking place later today, expect this to be delivered to your inbox daily (or close to it) from here on out.

- Chris Manning (@cwmwrites), Editor at Fear the Sword

As training camp kicks off, the major storyline still left unsolved is J.R. Smith's free agency. He's been in Cleveland enjoying himself at Indians games, but has yet to sign a deal. Expect this to come up some tomorrow.

Additionally, expect some Mo Williams talk to come out of media day. He recently decided to return for next season, but based on an interview he did with ESPN's Dave McMenamin, it seems as if he's preparing to take on a mentor role. Stay tuned and it'll be interesting to see if the Cavs seek out a veteran guard later on.

If you're looking for some good Cavs reads, check out our entire #CavsRank series here. Every Cav, from James Jones to LeBron James, was ranked from No. 14 all the way up to No. 1.

If you're looking for a podcast to listen to, check out 'Locked on Cavaliers', a Cavs podcast in the 'Locked on Podcast' network. It's hosted by me and you can subscribe on iTunes, Stitcher and AudioBoom. Also follow the show on Twitter @LockedOnCavs and like it on Facebook. Also, drop an e-mail or mailbag question to the show at lockedoncavs@gmail.com.

If you need a sick Cavs or NBA t-shirt, go support FtS' Daniel Rowell over on TeePublic. You may or may not see the header of this newsletter on a t-shirt in his store.

That's it for today. We'll talk to you tomorrow.
