When the Cleveland Cavaliers receive their championship rings on opening night, the players, coaches and front office won’t be the only ones receiving rings.
According to Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com, owner Dan Gilbert will give over 1,000 rings to full and part-time employees who work for the Cavs or Quicken Loans Arena. The rings won’t be a diamond encrusted ring like the players get, but it’s a championship ring just the same.

Team employees have known about the rings for a month. According to Vardon, they were notified about a month ago at a company event.
