Well, it’s about time. Kevin Love, according to a report from ESPN, will be a member of the Eastern Conference’s All-Star team. He’ll join teammates Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, who were previously voted in as starters.
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love has been voted an Eastern Conference All-Star reserve, league sources tell ESPN.

Love has been exceptional for the Cavs this season. He has the team’s highest net rating, and is the only player in the East averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds a game. His Player Efficiency Rating, true shooting rate, and usage rate, per basketball-reference.com, are as high as they’ve been during his time in Cleveland. The Cavs own the East’s best record. Love has also been praised for improving as a defender this season.
While his shooting has tapered off a bit recently, he’s been a great offensive fit next to LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. He’s a worthy All-Star, and the game in New Orleans should be a really fun night for Cavs fans.
