Fear the Newsletter: The Cavs start their road trip with a win

That and more in today’s newsletter.

NBA: Cleveland Cavaliers at Brooklyn Nets Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

Here's today's Fear the Newsletter, where we will always try to set you up like Kyrie passing to LeBron off the glass.

TALK TO ME: The Cavs got Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love back last night and beat the Nets 116-108. LeBron lead the way with 36 points, but Irving was the star in the second half. He finished with 32 points and, boy' is it good to have him back.

LEGEND HAS IT: Cleveland has an off day today before playing the Suns tomorrow. In Kyle Korver news, the deal should be officially completed today. The Cavs also completed a pick swap with the Trail Blazers that clears the way for Cleveland's 2019 pick to go to Atlanta. Ty Lue also says Korver will come off the bench when he joins the team.

ALL DUE RESPECT: The Warriors blew at 24 point lead last night against the Grizzlies - here's how it happened. The Rockets beat the Magic and it wasn't entirely because of James Harden. The Celtics just barely survived The Process. Toronto, San Antonio and Charlotte all had the night off.

JOB WELL DONE: Trevor Magnotti wrote about why the Cavs should deal Cedi Osman. Yesterday's Locked on Cavs broke down the Korver trade. Subscribe today and don't miss any future episodes.

CROWN: The WSJ's Jason Gay profiled the woman attempting the world's fastest bike ride. Uproxx's Donna Dickens on Star Wars doing a bad job of explaining Padme's death. Nerdist on DC's films needing to leave the 1980s behind. NY Mag's interview with El-P on RTJ3 and the apocalypse. Lastly, the WaPo's feature nostalgia for a white, Christian America.

That's it for today. Drop your questions, comments and concerns to christopherwmanning@gmail.com and we'll talk tomorrow before Cavs-Suns.
