The 2017-18 season started with one of the most gut-wrenching moments you will ever see on a basketball court. Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward came down awkwardly after trying to catch a lob pass and suffered a gruesome leg injury.

This is one of those moments that goes beyond rivalries. These are all humans and professionals that dedicate an incredible amount of time perfecting their craft and pursuing excellence. To see a fluke injury like this will undoubtedly leave anybody that witnessed it with an uneasy feeling for a long time.
