As transcribed from an ESPN article by ESPN, the NBA is considering balancing the schedule out and changing playoff seeding to abolish conferences. This isn’t something that will happen overnight, and isn’t certain yet, but it would directly impact the Cavs. For one, it’d be much less advantageous to take the regular season easy. And at least one Cavalier is in favor of it.
