For the first time his 15 year NBA career, LeBron James has been ejected from a game.
Late in the third quarter of the Cavs’ Thursday game against the Heat, Jame dorve to the rim, was bumped but not get the call he expected to. As he often does, Jame went to argue the call, but referee Kane Fitzgerald wasn’t having it. Fitzgerald quickly called James for two technical fouls, ending James’ night.
Here’s how James’ ejection unfolded (h/t to r/nba)
James ended the night having played 28 minutes, scoring 21 points, pulling down 12 rebounds, dishing out six assists and nabbing five steals. The Cavs also are well on their way to get a win without him, so at least he was able to get some rest with the Cavs still picking up a win.
