If the Cavaliers have their way, Iman Shumpert will be back on Tuesday when the Cavaliers face the Bucks at home. At his media availability prior to the Cavs’ game on Sunday against the Hawks, coach Tyronn Lue said that Shumpert would “hopefully” be back on Tuesday.

Sunday marks Shumpert’s fourth consecutive game missed due to knee soreness. While the Cavs aren’t thin at his position, they value his defense and his ability to guard multiple positions. And considering the many different lineups the team has shuffled through this season, it would be good for them to have as many healthy players as possible each night out.

In six games this season, Shumpert is averaging six points, one assist and 0.3 steals per game while shooting 41.4 percent from the field and 38.5 percent from three. He is currently averaging 18.2 minutes per game.
