Tristan Thompson will play on Saturday when the Cavaliers face the Jazz, Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said during his pre-game media availability. Per Lue, Thompson will be on a minutes restriction and will only play during the first half.
Thompson missed the Cavaliers’ game on Thursday due to soreness. He played in the Cavs’ game, but only played six minutes as the Cavs look to bring him back slowly. Tonight figures to be more of the same.
Lue also said pregame that there is “no timetable” for Derrick Rose’s return.
