In Chapter IV of the ‘Book of Isaiah II’ release, Isaiah Thomas’ connection to Boston is on full display. You see him attending a Patriots practice, how his kids became connected to the city and him appearing at different community events. The last event - Thomas’ basketball camp in Boston - sees him talking about his late sister, Chyna, and the impact she had on his life. The episode is also dedicated to her.
“We were planning on making that a second home, so I’ll always have a piece of my heat in the city of Boston,” Thomas says late in the video. “I think that feeling is mutual.”
This footage in this video was also recorded about two weeks before the Cavs and Celtics agreed to the trade that sent to Cleveland, so for those hoping to get more insight into what those days were like for Thomas, that’s likely to coming soon.
