Kyle Korver entered elite company Wednesday night as the Cleveland Cavaliers took on the Indiana Pacers.
In the second quarter, Korver hit his 2,000th career three-pointer, becoming only the seventh players all-time to reach that milestone. The other players to hit 2,000 threes are Ray Allen, Reggie Miller, Paul Pierce, Jason Terry, Jamal Crawford and Vince Carter.
Here’s the video of Korver’s three:

With the Cavs, Korver is getting to take and make a lot of open threes - perhaps more so than ever before. And this isn’t the first milestone Korver has hit with the Cavs. Last week against the Pacers, Kover hit a career-high eight threes. Considering how long he’s been an elite three-point shooter - and how good he was with the Atlanta Hawks - it’s sort of crazy that he never hit threes in a game before coming to Cleveland.
When it’s all said and done for Korver, he will likely go down as one of the best three-point shooters ever. It’s kind of cool that he is writing part of legacy with the Cavs.
