Felder has played two games previously with Canton. In the D-League, he’s averaging 30 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in 41.5 minutes per game. In Cleveland, he’s appeared in 36 games and is averaging 4.1 points in 9.6 minutes per game. Felder is likely to start for Canton alongside D-League All-Star Quinn Cook.
It’s also possible that Felder will be back with the Cavaliers on Saturday for their game against the Chicago Bulls. Felder could also be back in Canton on Sunday when the Charge take on the Maine Red Claws.
If the Cavs do end up signing Deron Williams as expected, Felder also may spend longer stretches in the D-League. with Williams on the roster, Cleveland wouldn’t need as much depth around on a night-to-night basis.
