Kay Felder will be back with the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight when the Cavs take on the Chicago Bulls, according to press release from the team. Felder spent last night with the Charge on assignment and started for Canton in its 117-110 loss to the Delaware 87ers. In the loss, Felder scored 32 points to go along with 6 assists and 4 rebounds.

If Deron Williams signs with the Cavs as expected once he clears waivers, Felder could be spending a lot more time in Canton. Williams will fill the team’s minutes behind Kyrie Irving. In that scenario, Felder won’t have much of an opportunity to play. In Canton - which is about an hour drive from Cleveland - Felder would get an opportunity to play every night.
And with Charge star Quinn Cook headed to the Dallas Mavericks on a 10-day contract, Canton will need minutes filled at the point guard spot. It would also be easy to call Felder up when Irving takes the night off.
