Here's today's Fear the Newsletter, where we will always try to set you up like Kyrie passing to LeBron off the glass.
TALK TO ME: The Cavs were off Friday, but news broke that Larry Sanders may soon be a Cavalier. And Kyle Korver may miss a week with a sore foot.
LEGEND HAS IT: The Cavs face the Magic tonight. Orlando hasn't been Cleveland since Brandon Weeden was the Browns' starting quarterback. Tipoff is at 7 p.m.
ALL DUE RESPECT: The Warriors lost to the Wolves last night and will rest Curry, Green, Thompson and Iguodala against the Spurs. The Raptors' offense sputtered in a loss to the Hawks. The Celtics were beat down by the Nuggets. It took overtime, but the Wizards beat the Kings. The Rockets destroyed the Bulls. The Clippers, Jazz and Spurs all had the night off.
The Cavs enter Saturday 2.5 games up on both the Wizards and Celtics and five games up on the Raptors.
JOB WELL DONE: No new posts aside from news yesterday.
And why not subscribe to the Locked on Cavaliers podcast and catch up on old episodes before Monday's show returns with a mailbag? There's still time to drop questions to lockedoncavs@gmail.com or to @LockedOnCavs on Twitter.
CROWN: FiveThirtyEight's Chris Herring talked to LeBron and Harden about what makes them great passers. Nate Silver showed that there really was a liberal media bubble. SB Nation's Charlotte Wilder talked to Duke players about Grayson Allen, who actually like Grayson Allen. GQ profiled the rise of Christian Pulisic. And Kent Wired's Erin Zaranec wrote an op-ed that you should just go read and then think about.
That's it for today. Drop your questions, comments and concerns to christopherwmanning@gmail.com and we'll talk tomorrow prior after Cavs-Magic and before Cavs-Rockets.
