Here's today's Fear the Newsletter, where we will always try to set you up like Kyrie passing to LeBron off the glass.
TALK TO ME: On the second half of a back-to-back, the Cavs lost to the Rockets 117-112. LeBron played 40 minutes on the second half of a back-to-back, including all 12 minutes of the fourth quarter. Houston also pulled down a season-high 20 offensive rebounds.
LEGEND HAS IT: The Cavs are off Monday, but are expected to waive Andrew Bogut and perhaps sign a replacement. Stay tuned.
ALL DUE RESPECT: The Warriors, Jazz, Raptors, Wizards, Clippers and Spurs all had Sunday off. The Celtics throttled the Bulls and Avery Bradley had his minutes restriction removed.
The Cavs enter Monday two games ahead of the Celtics and Wizards and 5.5 games ahead of the Raptors.
JOB WELL DONE: Aside from our game coverage, we didn't post anything new.
Also: Subscribe to the Locked on Cavaliers podcast. Today's show covers Larry Sanders and the Cavs' weekend games.
CROWN: MLive's Brendan Quinn has a fantastic story about how the Michigan men's basketball team reacted after their plane crashed. Jordan Zirm dives into the already thriving Deron Williams/LeBron partnership. Buzzfeed's feature on Omarosa's rise to power and how it has affected Black Republicans is fascinating. The Athletic's James Mirtle on how Canadian hockey teams have risen back to power is worth your time even if you don't like hockey. And GQ has a profile up on how the world's heaviest man lost it all.
That's it for today. Drop your questions, comments and concerns to christopherwmanning@gmail.com and we'll talk tomorrow prior to Cavs-Pistons.
