Here's today's Fear the Newsletter, where we will always try to set you up like Kyrie passing to LeBron off the glass.
TALK TO ME: Larry Sanders is officially a Cavalier and he's going to spend time playing in the D-League with the Canton Charge. Expect him to meet with the media for the first time later today.
LEGEND HAS IT: The Cavs do have a game today against the Detroit Pistons. Sanders is expected to be in attendance, but isn't expected to play. And with all the snow in Cleveland, it's unclear if the game is any jeopardy at this time. Tipoff is currently schedule for 7 p.m. Here's our game preview.
ALL DUE RESPECT: The Raptors wrecked the Mavericks. Kawhi returned and the Spurs beat the Hawks. The Wizards' win streak ended in a loss to the Wolves. The Jazz beat the Clippers and now hold a two game advantage over L.A. for the West's No. 4 seed. The Warriors, Celtics and Rockets all had Monday off.
The Cavs enter Tuesday two games up on the Celtics, 2.5 games up on the Wizards and and five games up on the Raptors.
JOB WELL DONE: FTS' weekly Canton Charge roundup looks at big weeks for Kay Felder and Eric Moreland. And yesterday's Locked on Cavs podcast covers the Cavs' weekend games and Larry Sanders.
Also: Subscribe to the Locked on Cavaliers podcast. Today's show covers Larry Sanders and tonight's Cavs-Pistons game.
CROWN: SB Nation's Paul Flannery wrote an NBA's fan guide to the NCAA tournament. The Nation's Dave Zirin wrote a great column about March Madness exploiting college athletes. SI's Jonathan Wilson wrote a column about N'Golo Kante's great season for Chelsea. NBC's Dane Carbaugh explains how Jusuf Nurkic is impacting the Blazers. And FiveThirtyEight explains why the left might have a hard time replicating the Tea Party's success. (h/t to Kevin Stankiewicz)
That's it for today. Drop your questions, comments and concerns to christopherwmanning@gmail.com and we'll talk tomorrow after Cavs-Pistons.
